After the first week of welcoming new riders, and some old faces, the boys lay down some times on the new track at the Racing Centre.
The Gravity School Race team round out the first pre-season camp of 2025, with a close fought race on the next track "Through the V". Situated at the Racing Centre in Agueda, Portugal, the team in partnership with Trail Tools EU have crafted a new race track to prime the boys for a season of Downhill Racing. Through the V is different to the original track at the racing centre "GFR", and challenges the riders to adapt through the week to a number of terrains and features.
Through the V is a short but demanding Downhill Race Track with jumps, gaps, rock gardens and some tricky flat turns that can make or break a race run. A number of team riders took injuries during the race camp but the 8 remaining riders battled it out on the final day for bragging rights on the freshly built track. It wasn't without it's challenges, as a number of riders struggled with the flat turns at the end of the run. And a small mistake on the road gap costs one rider BIG.
As a number of riders move into new team roles and age categories, we wait to see who will step up their game the most for 2025. How much longer can Jack hold on to the 'fastest team rider' title? How close behind is Rueben?
